It seems that we are in for another redesign of the 2024 Range Rover Sport Electric. This crossover is still very popular. It receives an update on a yearly basis and is always kept fresh. Which is one of the main reasons it attracts so much hype. The Rover Sport has amazing off-road abilities, it is quite stylish on the inside and roomy.

Interior Full of Luxury
The inside could use a bit of a refresh. The 2024 Range Rover Sport Electric needs better seating. Especially if you plan on taking it off-roading. More cushioning and better lumbar support. To add some style, hopefully, we get more material choices. Only leather is not viable. Add contrast stitching to it and you got yourself a winner. Infotainment is standard with a 13-inch touchscreen and a digital dashboard.
Heads up display should be available as well. The SUV can seat five people comfortably without issue. Designers did an amazing job with the ergonomics of the SUV which means there is enough storage space as well. Hands-free driving is rumored to be present. It remains to be seen if Range Rover invests in their own system or borrows one from a proven manufacturer. This would allow drivers to relax behind the steering wheel for a while.
Exterior Design
On the outside, the new 2024 Range Rover Sport Electric looks stunning. It has a bit blocky look but is still ergonomic and aerodynamic. Because of that, it has a better range and nice handling. Wheel rims are 19 inches which are big for an SUV. No off-roading tires on a basic trim.
Perhaps some trims get that option, along with other off-roading tools. Like better suspension for example or skid plates for the underbody. The front mesh is gone, it has a big fascia with slim linear headlights. Bumpers are not as prominent as before and they fit well with the design.
Engine Specs
Under the hood, we have a plethora of choices. Range Rover always came with sturdy and durable power trains that managed to deliver. This time around there is not much choice, but it is a great choice. There is going to be a PHEV variant. This means that Range Rover Sport Electric will have a six-cylinder Ingenium engine along with a battery pack and a single electric motor.
The batteries are 38.2 kWh lithium-ion batteries, which are of top-notch quality. The electric motor has 140 horsepower in itself, but with the engine, it adds up to 434 horsepower. More than enough to make the big SUV go quick and go determined. The electric motor can run for over 60 miles on its own if you run out of fuel. Energy usage is controlled by eHorizon navigation software. This greatly improves fuel efficiency. And it will be used on the fully electric version.
There is a new platform in town, it is the MLA-Flex or Modular Longitudinal Architecture. This helps the new 2024 Range Rover Sport Electric put all the components it needs under the cabin. It can accommodate hybrids, PHEVs, and fully battery electric vehicles. The fully electric version has the chance to surpass 500 horsepower mark according to rumors. It is also aiming for above 400 miles on a single charge. It will have fast charging along with other goodies.

As already mentioned, the 2024 Range Rover Sport Electric is aiming for 400 plus miles on a single charge. This is enabled by a powerful battery pack and some good old engineering. It is good that you can get extra 100 miles in just 10 minutes of charging. That way stopping for coffee is worthwhile.
2024 Range Rover Sport Electric Price and Release Date
This model is priced at around $120000, which might sound like a lot. But considering what you get, you can’t really get a better offer on components and quality like this. Expect the 2024 Range Rover Sport Electric to come off the production track later in 2023.
