The next 2023 Kia Telluride will be out this year, and it will be the same SUV with minor upgrades. If you didn’t already know, this great SUV got a small update last year. That includes a larger infotainment touchscreen and some new features such as Highway Driving Assist. On top of that, new Kia logos are all over the vehicle.
The Kia Telluride will introduce small upgrades, although the manufacturer could surprise us with at least one significant change. It will be a mid-size three-row SUV with a very modern interior that provides lots of high-tech features and plenty of space. It is likely to have the same standard V6 engine for the same price. Because of its great looks and other features, this model will be able to compete with more established models such as Toyota Highlander.
Kia Telluride SUV Gets Mid-Cycle Facelift
The styling of the 2023 Kia Telluride looks better than it did before. The new model will gain a slightly improved grille, and the new brand’s logo looks astonishing on it. Furthermore, the hood and the LED headlights will be slightly modified.
As a whole, the Telluride looks sharper than before. Of course, every trim level is unique in its own way. For an instance, the LX and EX models have 18-inch alloy wheels, while the S and SX have 20-inch rims. Moreover, the Nightfall Edition is the most popular choice because of a lot of visual modifications. This SUV adds a black finish to things like the wheels, roof rails, and grille.
Even though the 2023 Kia Telluride may look a little different, it’s likely to have a better cabin. Inside this SUV, you can’t help but feel like you’re in a high-end model. The quality of the build is very good, and the Telluride has a lot of technology. There is room for eight people across three rows of seats, and there is a lot of space inside.
When you get into this SUV, you’ll see a 10.3-inch touchscreen with a lot of useful features like Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, as well as a premium ten-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. The new model will also gain more safety features, but every new safety system will be optional. The Kia Telluride now has a blind-spot view monitor, a 360-degree camera system, and automatic high beams.
No Hybrid Powertrain Yet
The forthcoming 2023 Kia Telluride comes with a potent gasoline engine. It is a naturally-aspirated V6 unit that makes 291 horsepower and a torque of 262 lb-ft. There is an eight-speed automatic transmission, as before, along with the standard FWD system.
You can get an all-wheel-drive as an option, no matter which trim level you choose. In terms of speed, this big SUV can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.1 seconds. It’s also important to note that the Telluride model can tow around 5000 pounds.
2023 Kia Telluride Release Date, Price
The price of the upcoming 2023 Kia Telluride will start at $33,000 and the range-topping trim level will reach almost $50,000. This model is closely related to the Hyundai Palisade, and it will rival other SUVs in the segment such as Honda Pilot, Chevy Traverse, and Toyota Highlander. The sales will begin later this summer.
