And while this model slightly departs from the recognizable design language, it has an engine that says this is a real Ferrari. The 2023 Ferrari Purosangue will sit on a new “Front Mid Engine” architecture. Moreover, this sporty SUV will offer hidden rear door handles. Still, a five-door body makes this SUV looks like a hatchback on steroids. The renderings are showing a familiar grille with a prancing horse logo in the middle. Moreover, even the headlights are recognizable, nothing new to see upfront.
The air dam is smaller, which might come as a surprise. The side profile shows a vent on each fender and very sharp body lines. Of course, the renderings are not so reliable, but we get the idea. As for the rear section, it looks weird, so we expect a slightly different rear section in order to maximize cargo area. The dual-taillights are visible at first glance, along with the aggressive rear diffuser.
Interior Details
The interior details are not available at the moment. However, it is a Ferrari, so things are obvious. The new 2023 Ferrari Purosangue will offer sportier seats with Alcantara upholstery. Of course, nothing without contrast stitching. A flat-bottom steering wheel will come as standard and Ferrari will deliver a modern dashboard with a larger center console.
Luxury SUVs will most likely gain a huge infotainment touchscreen with at least two displays in the rear seats. Interestingly, some reports are suggesting a four-seat layout. This is not official, so we are waiting to hear more details regarding the interior.
Potent V12 Engine Under the Hood
Reportedly, the forthcoming 2023 Ferrari Purosangue will get a potent V12 engine. Moreover, a twin-turbo V8 unit will join the lineup at some point. Naturally, the four-wheel-drive system will come as standard, no matter which engine you opt for.
The V12 engine is capable of producing around 655 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Many experts are predicting 3.7 seconds from 0 to 60 mph. Furthermore, the top speed will be rated at around 210 mph. A hybrid powertrain is not so likely, although it will happen at some point in the future.
2023 Ferrari Purosangue Price, Release Date
The price of the 2023 Ferrari Purosangue is impossible to predict. It could start at $240,000, and it could easily cost closer to $400,000. The manufacturer is yet to announce the official price, but this SUV won’t come cheap, that’s for sure.
The production will begin later this year, with the sales starting in the first half of 2023. Naturally, the Purosangue SUV will rival Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga.
