Engine Specs
The next 2023 BMW X2 will deploy a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine with 228 hp as standard. On top of that, this engine delivers 258 lb-ft of torque. That’s more than enough power for a subcompact SUV. The X2 SUV also provides good fuel economy ratings.
This model gets 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. The optional AWD system will slightly lower these ratings. An 8-speed automatic transmission comes with paddle shifters and generally, the X2 SUV provides a quiet ride and agile handling.

The price of the forthcoming 2023 BMW X2 should start at around $36,500. It is an affordable price in our opinion, but still higher than some of the rivals in the subcompact segment.
