Despite the camouflage, some changes are disguised in the current update of the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe. However, we don’t expect dramatic changes and most of the updates are minor.  The front fascia seems to be refreshed and the cascade grille is larger than before.

Moreover, split-headlight design remains. The bumper will be refreshed and potentially the same color as the rest of the exterior. The Santa Fe SUV receives a new pattern for the taillamps and a restyled bumper provides a slightly more aggressive appearance.

Interior Upgrades

In addition to some minor external changes, the next 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe will be fitted with a more premium cabin. However, spy photographers could not snap any interior details. Because of that, we cannot be sure what would change on the inside. We’ve still managed to get some technology upgrade information. For a start, a new infotainment system is available and new upholstery is a possibility as well.

Some of the features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, a tilt/telescopic steering column, and a rearview monitor are still in offer. On the other hand, new USB-C ports are installed. Finally, Santa Fe SUV will gain the latest driver-assistance features. However, all new safety systems are optional in the base trim level.

The upcoming 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe will offer a few engines. First of all, a 2.0-liter turbo engine is available and it delivers 235 hp. On top of that, you can get a less potent 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 185 horsepower. Both outputs are available in the United States. However, a new powertrain option could be a hybrid.

The latest reports are predicting both mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants. However, we don’t have any information regarding the Santa Fe Hybrid model at the moment. More details will become available in the first quarter of 2021.
