2022 Enclave Exterior Redesign
The upcoming 2022 Buick Enclave is getting a redesign and we already have a couple of photos. New three-row SUV looks refreshed and the front fascia will gain the most significant updates. For a start, the front grille is revised and it wears a winged Buick logo. The headlights are reshaped as well, so the front part definitely looks more modern.
The Avenir trim level offers an exclusive grille with a honeycomb pattern and additional chrome accents. The rear section comes with brand-new taillights, which is another great addition. The Enclave SUV will continue to ride on the current platform. Thanks to that, this model will be 204 inches long. As before, 18-wheels are offered as standard, while the 20-inch rims are optional.
Interior Gets Larger Touchscreen
On the inside, the new 2022 Buick Enclave also comes with refreshments. According to Buick, the new model will offer more standard features and more high-quality materials. The comfort will be better, but the cabin design will mostly remain. This model delivers new infotainment and additional driver-assistance features.
However, the biggest change is the all-new touchscreen. A 10.2-inch unit is in the works and this display will be standard as well. To compare, Kia Telluride offers a 10.25-inch unit but Toyota Highlander leads the segment with its 12.3-inch touchscreen. Packages will be updated and features like remote start, keyless entry, and garage remote are available once again.
New Engine Still Just a Rumor
Latest reports are suggesting a new engine under the hood of the 2022 Buick Enclave. However, this is the only mystery at the moment. The rumors are predicting a new 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that powers models such as Cadillac XT6 and GMC Acadia.
Buick is yet to confirm the engine lineup for 2022MY. On the other hand, a 3.6-liter V6 with 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque surely remains. This unit offers a nine-speed automatic transmission. On top of that, Enclave remains a front-wheel-drive model with the optional all-wheel-drive system.
2022 Buick Enclave Price, Release Date
With the redesign, new 2022 Buick Enclave will cost more than the outgoing model. That means you can get a new three-row SUV for about $42,000. The sales will begin by the end of 2021. If the manufacturer reschedules its plans, we’ll let you know, because launching this model in the first quarter of 2022 is a possibility.
