The next-gen 2021 Toyota Highlander SUV will be redesigned, and according to the latest news, it will hit the roads next year. The new Highlander is a famous family SUV that will remain to be a three-row model. It comes with a spacious and roomy cabin for eight passengers.

Under the hood, the new Highlander will continue to offer a few powertrain options, and the hybrid system is one of them. The latest spy photos appear, and according to them, the upcoming Highlander will borrow some cues from the smaller RAV4 crossover.

The Highlander SUV comes with three rows of seats and can boast up to 8-passenger on trims like L and LE. Also, this SUV comes with excellent cargo space. It offers 16.1 cu ft of cargo space behind the back row, which expands to 40.6 when that 60/40 split seat is down and 73.3 cu ft with the two rear rows folded flat.

The 2021 Toyota Highlander will be slightly redesigned. The new model will offer numerous configurations. However, the price will be the same, and the base model starts at around $33,500. Highlander Hybrid will raise the price to $40,000.

Limited Platinum trim that is the most equipped, starts at $47,000. All-wheel-system configuration is optional on all models and costs $1,800. Honda PilotFord Explorer, and Nissan Pathfinder are Highlander’s strongest competitors. The debut of the new Highlander will be sometime in 2020.
