According to the latest reports, Tucson is the last model that is rumored to get the N-Line treatment. The upcoming 2021 Hyundai Tucson N makes perfect sense. Right now, Hyundai lacks high-performance SUVs, and Tucson is the perfect candidate for plenty of reasons. It is a unique SUV that comes with style and sportiness.
The N-Line will introduce even more sportiness, and it will look more aggressive than the regular model. Tucson’s mid-size dimensions will remain. However, Hyundai will add plenty of darkened exterior features, larger wheels and much more. Even the interior will look more premium, and it seems like the powertrain choice has come down to one engine.
2021 Tucson N-Line Cosmetic Upgrades
The forthcoming 2021 Hyundai Tucson N will look incredible. For a start, the N-Line treatment delivers dark mesh grille that will look unique than the regular horizontal-bar grille. The front bumper will get a redesign, and it will look more aggressive. Hyundai will opt for a boomerang-shaped daytime running lights and tinted headlamps. Overall, the complete front fascia is updated, and it comes with a meaner look.
Another novelty is the premium dark wheels. However, we don’t know yet the size of the wheels, both standard and optional. Black window trims, black mirror caps and roof-mounted spoiler are also providing sportier appearance. Everything about Tucson N is so unique and exciting, and we can’t wait to see in on the roads.
As for the interior updates, new 2021 Hyundai Tucson N will offer new leather seats with contrast stitching. Thanks to that, the cabin looks premium, and it provides better comfort. Hyundai will focus on the sporty side of the interior as well, with unique steering wheel and various different shapes. New gear shift level is available too. We like the dark metal trims inside the cabin.
On the other hand, a 7-inch touchscreen is precisely the same unit that you can find inside the regular Tucson. The manufacturer will keep analog gauges, and it won’t deliver an all-digital instrument cluster. The N-Line variant will offer more standard equipment and more safety features. Lastly, the customers should expect new Qj wireless charging pad and updated Blue Link system.
New Turbo Engine and a New Hybrid Powertrain
After brand’s documents leaked online, we know basically everything about new 2021 Hyundai Tucson N. According to documents, new Tucson N SUV will deploy a 2.5-liter engine. It is a turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine with 285 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is available, but this isn’t everything. The high-performance SUV will also get a hybrid powertrain that combines a 1.6-liter engine with electric motors.
The same hybrid setup can be found in the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid model. Maybe the best part about new Tucson N is the new suspension and improved handling. Instead of targeting more power, the Korean manufacturer opted for supreme ride quality and improved fuel efficiency.
2021 Hyundai Tucson N Price and Release Date
The brand-new 2021 Hyundai Tucson N will start at around $30,000. A hybrid variant will cost slightly above that, but probably below $35,000. Hyundai will unveil more details next month, while the sales will begin in the first quarter of 2021.
