The last one is a PHEV model. This version comes with a 2.5-liter Atkinson engine, a 48-volt electric system, and a belt-driver alternator. Ford manufacturer said that the hybrid variant would deliver 100 mpg. The electric motor should add more horses so that the total output will be around 209 hp. On the all-electric mod, this model can travel 50 miles on a single charge.
2021 Ford Escape Estimated Cost and Availability
The price of the upcoming 2021 Ford Escape will start at $25,000 for the base model. The new SUV will get more standard features and better quality inside. SEL trim level that offers a great list of features will cost around $30,500, while the Titanium model starts at $36,000. Furthermore, the new plug-in hybrid version will cost $32,000.
