The new-generation 2021 Cadillac Escalade will arrive later next year. According to the latest rendering photos, the following model will bring a unique look and some drastic changes inside. As before, this full-size SUV will continue to offer a room for eight passengers through three rows of seats.
Also, thanks to the new T1XX body-on-frame platform, the upcoming model will offer a spacious cabin and more cargo space. Unfortunately, under this SUV is lying the same 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. However, there is some gossip that the manufacturer will add a smaller V8 engine alongside the hybrid version.
2021 Cadillac Escalade Next-Gen Design
The next-gen 2021 Cadillac Escalade will be redesigned, and it will get some changes. First rendering photos emerged, and according to them, the upcoming model will ride on the new T1XX body-on-frame platform that will bring to this SUV many improvements. Also, the same platform will be used on the next-gen Chevy Tahoe/Suburban and GMC Yukon models.
The dimension of this SUV will remain to be the same. The Escalade is 222.3 inches long. However, most of the changes will be on the front and sides. The approaching model will get a massive grille and the wider full-LED headlights. 20-inch chrome wheels will continue to roll on this model. On the back of this full-size SUV, the manufacturer will introduce new long vertical taillights that also employ LEDs technology.
Unique and Attractive Cabin
The latest 2021 Cadillac Escalade will provide a stylish cabin. Furthermore, the new full-size SUV offers plenty of room inside. There will be rooms for eight passengers. Also, it provides excellent comfort thanks to the comfy seats that offer maximum enjoyability on the longer trips. The base Cadillac Escalade model provides more standard features than before. Standard equipment includes a 12-way power-adjustable seat, a -zone climate control, heated and cooled front seats, front and rear park assists, surround-vision camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto-compatible 16-speaker Bose Centerpoint audio and so on.
However, the range-topping Platinum trim will add more features. This trim offers Nappa semi-aniline leather, suede microfiber headliner and climate-controlled 18-way-adjustable front seats, sunroof, a rear-entertainment system with a 9-inch overhead screen, wireless headphones and remote control. Also, Platinum models will get a more attractive look thanks to the chrome grille, power-retractable side steps, and suede headliner.
The newest 2021 Cadillac Escalade SUV will offer only one engine option. Under the hood of this model is lying a powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque.
This engine is available with a 10-speed automatic transmission as the only gearbox option. However, there is also a rumor that the upper trims may get a 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 and a hybrid version. However, this info is not yet confirmed by officials.
2021 Cadillac Escalade Price and Release Date
The 2021 Cadillac Escalade will offer an attractive and robust look. The new model, as the current one, will be available in four trim levels. The base model will cost under $76,500 including a $1,295 destination charge.
However, more Luxury trim is around $5,500 more, while Premium Luxury starts at $86,490. The top-ranking Platinum is again under $95,600. Lincoln Navigator, Infiniti QX80, Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class, and the Audi Q7 are the models that cost less and offer the same or even better luxury. According to General Motors, the next-gen Escalade will arrive at the end of 2020.
