2021 Cadillac Escalade New Pricing Details
Cadillac released new prices a few days ago. From what we saw, the entry-level 2021 Cadillac Escalade Diesel will start at $77,500. If you want a larger ESV variant, it will cost you $80,500. The pricing of the trim levels has not been announced yet. However, it is easy to see that the new model costs only $1,000 more than the current one.
We say only because the new 2021 Escalade has been heavily updated. Overall, we think the price is now fairer and the price increase is really small. We are still waiting to see the price of models such as Escalade Sport, Sport Platinum, and Premium.
Diesel Specs
The all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade Diesel is perhaps the best thing that happened to this luxury SUV. Of course, we are talking exclusively about the 2021 model. This SUV will feature a diesel powertrain that will be a no-cost option. As you probably know, diesels are usually optional in the United States. However, Escalade will offer its new inline-six turbodiesel at no additional cost. Diesel will represent a fuel-efficient variant for the customers.
This 3.0-liter mill can produce 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. It is an impressive torque rating that matches the torque of the significantly larger 6.2-liter engine. From now on, all you have to do is to check the diesel option and move to the next step. However, be careful if you are buying a special package because General Motors is using this trick for years now.
What is New?
The 2021 Cadillac Escalade Diesel offers plenty of optional equipment. However, even the base model comes with a long list of standard features. For a start, a large OLED display is in the offer. This unit provides 38 inches (diagonally) and it looks incredible. Thanks to that, the gauge cluster and infotainment system are now much easier to use. The new navigation system comes with an augmented reality function.
On top of that, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will remain standard. GM offers a 19-speaker AKG audio system or optional 36-speaker sound system. Finally, there are Magnetic Ride Control, Super Cruise and new adaptive air suspension.

At this point, it is unclear when the 2021 Cadillac Escalade Diesel will go on sale. The Coronavirus outbreak could delay all of the planned releases. We hope that General Motors will manage to release a new luxury SUV by the end of Summer 2020.
