The 2020 Mitsubishi Pajero SUV has been caught on the camera, and the upcoming model will come with a refreshed exterior. First thing first, the latest spy photos have emerged, and Pajero will bring some essential updates. This middle-size SUV will get stronger front fascia, new taillights, and more stylish grille. Dimensionally, the three-row SUV will remain the same as before. The interior will also be upgraded, and we can expect lots of quality materials inside and more techs.
Elegance and sportiness are the real words that can describe this SUV. On top of that, the new model is also known as the “Montero” model or Shogun for the European markets. The main rival of this model is the upcoming 2020 Toyota Fortuner.
2020 Mitsubishi Pajero Body Design
The three-row seven-seat 2020 Mitsubishi Pajero has been spied, and from the first photos, we can see numerous exterior changes and upgrades. However, most of the body parts of this SUV are updated and the upcoming model will get the more attractive front. The revised headlights and reworked foglights are the first things that caught our attention. Also, the grille is more stylish, and it`s almost the same as on the Triton/L200 pickup.

Single Turbodiesel Engine
Under the bonnet, the 2020 Mitsubishi Pajero will offer the same engine as before. We don’t know for sure if the manufacturer will add some power to the new model.
The current model comes with a 3.2-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel unit that delivers 190 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available with 5-speed automatic transmission, and an all-wheel-drive setup is optional.
The hybrid drivetrain has been also rumored. According to the latest report, the hybrid variant will happen soon. However, at this moment, there is no info on what will be under the hood of this model. We can expect more power and astonishing mileage figures.
2020 Mitsubishi Pajero Price and Release Date
The upcoming 2020 Mitsubishi Pajero will get minor updates. The manufacturer will refresh some parts of this SUV, and it will add better safety. According to the latest report, the new model will start at bellow $35,000. However, if the hybrid variant arrives, the price is in a range from 38,000 to $40,000.
Pajero Sport will be also available. This model will start its journey at $50,000. The new 2021 Pajero SUV will hit the dealerships in the third quarter of 2019 as per the latest news.
