The current one model with the same engine makes 166 horses and 161 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
As before front-wheel-drive system is standard, while all-wheel-drive configuration is optional. Also, we can expect better fuel economy. The current one model provides with the front-wheel-drive model 20 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway and with AWD 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.
According to the latest rumors, the new 2020 Honda Element will be also offered with the same engine that is used in the HR-V model. Under the hood of this model is lying a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 140 horses. The next rumored engine is a 1.5-liter with the output of 190 horses and 180 pound-feet of torque.
2020 Honda Element Release Date and Cost
According to the latest report, the new Honda Element will arrive this year. There is no exact date, but we can expect its release to the market sometime in late 2019. At the same time, the manufacturer will release the Honda Pilot model.
The Honda Element is a very affordable SUV that will cost 22,000 for the base model. The upper trims may reach the price of $35,000.
